Artist in Residence
Chelsea & Westminster Hospital
As an artist in residence at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, I noticed hundreds of staff, invisible to the public eye, who were vital in keeping the hospital running as it recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic. Ranging from cleaners to chefs, the clinical waste team and many more. I spent time with them all and used reportage drawing as a tool to uncover and celebrate their stories. Over 50 images were made on location and then exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery.
