A day in the life of a London Paramedic
We don't get a chance to appreciate the hard work of paramedics until it's too late. Most people only see an ambulance whizz past them in traffic, or arrive at an incident only to leave shortly after. This piece raises awareness by letting you witness what happens behind closed doors before, during and after a call out.
This 3.8 meter long ECG scan documents a days work through the eyes of a London Paramedic. Reportage drawings made on the spot alongside paramedics from St Heliers station tell the story.
